THE VIP CAPSULE COLLECTION

For more than 20 years, Jono Pandolfi has been designing ceramic dinnerware for some of the world’s best restaurants and hotels. What started with one wheel and one kiln has grown into a team of artisans producing more than 1,200 pieces a day for 800+ restaurants worldwide, all from our 30,000-square-foot studio in Union City, NJ.

Over the past year, we’ve had the opportunity to work closely with some incredible NYC restaurants, many of them just across the river from our studio. We’re introducing our first VIP Collection, a limited run of collaborations created with six of our NYC restaurant clients who continue to inspire us: Wild Cherry, Cosme, Shukette, Kochi, Humm, and Oberon at the New Museum.

Each collaboration features an exclusive shape, set, or glaze developed with the restaurant, then hand-glazed and fired in our New Jersey studio and finished with the restaurant’s custom stamp.

Cosme x Jono Pandolfi Conical Bowl

Chef Enrique Olvera’s contemporary restaurant has been part of New York’s dining scene for more than a decade, known for adventurous dishes and a fresh take on familiar flavors. As The New York Times put it, “Most of all, the cooking is a thrill, largely because it sails right over ideas like tradition, authenticity and modernity.”

The Dark Brown clay with white glaze Conical Bowl has been part of Cosme’s service for years and has become an iconic piece of the restaurant’s table. It’s used for dishes like aguachile, where the shape helps keep the dish at the bottom of the bowl while allowing the flavors to mingle and marinate.

Humm x Jono Pandolfi Humm Bowl

We’ve had a longstanding relationship with Chef Daniel Humm, the acclaimed chef behind Eleven Madison Park and Clemente Bar. Over the years, we’ve designed dinnerware for both restaurants. So when Humm came to us with his latest project, his first namesake restaurant in the West Village, we were thrilled to create something for the opening.

The Humm Bowl was designed specifically for the restaurant. Its thin-walled form is made in Toasted clay and finished with an off-white glaze.

Shukette x Jono Pandolfi Serving Set

At her Chelsea restaurant Shukette, Executive Chef Ayesha Nurdjaja puts Middle Eastern cooking and open-fire flavors at the center of the table. A 2026 James Beard finalist for Best Chef: New York State, she brings that same bold approach to her debut cookbook, Mediterranean All the Way: Bold Flavors, Built to Share, out this October.

We brought that spirit to life in a three-piece set developed for Shukette, featuring a Yellow Share Plate, Warm Sky Blue Share Plate, and Sapphire Medium Oval Platter, all made in Toasted clay.

Wild Cherry x Jono Pandolfi Tiki Cup

Opened last year inside the historic Cherry Lane Theatre, Wild Cherry has quickly become one of New York City’s toughest reservations. The West Village restaurant comes from A24 and the team behind Frenchette and Le Veau d’Or, with bold red interiors to match its equally distinctive “theatrical American” menu.

We collaborated with the Wild Cherry team on its red Tiki Cup, finished with the restaurant’s signature cherry stamp. If you score one of the highly coveted seats at the bar, order the Honeydew Melon Zombie to see it in action.

Kochi x Jono Pandolfi Rimmed Appetizer Bowl Set

At Michelin-starred Kochi, Chef Sungchul Shim brings his Korean roots to a playful, refined tasting menu built around skewers. The restaurant’s dishes range from salmon bibimbap to pollock roe, candied anchovy, and toasted nori served over brown soy-butter rice.

The MICHELIN Guide praised Shim’s cooking as “solid but playful and technically proficient,” highlighting his ability to pair Korean flavors with his fine-dining pedigree.

For the capsule, we made a set of four Rimmed Appetizer Bowls in Toasted clay with white glaze, sized for banchan, small bites, sauces, and snacks.

Oberon at the New Museum x Jono Pandolfi Espresso Set

Our relationship with museums and arts institutions goes back to the very beginning. More than 20 years ago, Jono Pandolfi received his first commission from the Museum of Modern Art for the reopening of Terrace 5 Cafe and Cafe 2, setting his business in motion.

Today, we’re continuing that connection with Oberon, the New Museum’s first full-service restaurant, bringing together food, art, and design inside the museum’s new Bowery expansion.

For the capsule, we created an exclusive four-piece Classic Espresso Bundle in Dark Brown clay with an eye-catching Shiny Green glaze, finished with Oberon’s custom stamp.
