THE AUGUST SPECIAL EDITION IS A TIKI PARTY
Our cult-favorite Tiki Cup just got more colorful.
Originally designed for The Plaza Hotel in New York City, then re-released from the archive for our 20th Anniversary, the Tiki Cup has become one of our most sought-after pieces. Each one is slip-cast, glazed, and fired by hand in our Union City studio.
For our August Special Edition, we're introducing a few new limited-run glaze options — with a little help from our friends. It’s our most colorful Tiki collection yet, including an Extra-Special Edition made in collaboration with our friends at New York City's Wild Cherry.
A Tiki Made for Wild Cherry 🍒
One of our new glaze options is a collaboration we’ve been shaking up behind the scenes, and we’re thrilled to finally share it.
We teamed up with our friends at Wild Cherry to create a Tiki Cup inspired by the restaurant’s already-iconic red interior. Tucked inside the historic Cherry Lane Theatre in New York City’s West Village, Wild Cherry is the latest concept from Chef Riad Nasr and Lee Hanson of the Frenchette Group, and has quickly become one of the city’s most wanted reservations.
With a stellar bar program that’s been getting serious buzz, Wild Cherry was the perfect client to create this special Cup with.
Every Wild Cherry Red Tiki Cup includes:
- A custom Wild Cherry matchbook
- An exclusive Honeydew Zombie recipe created for the restaurant’s cocktail menu
Shiny Green
A green with a high-gloss finish that has been a signature for our hospitality clients since 2011.
Warm Sky Blue
A classic blue with a subtle warmth made for citrus-forward cocktails.
Toasted Clay with White Glaze
Making its debut this month, this style requires multiple hand-brushed coats of Toasted clay slip and calls for one of our most labor-intensive processes.
Whether you’re mixing frozen daiquiris, Jungle Birds, Garibaldis, or a Honeydew Zombie, these cups were made to be used, shared, and shown off. We made each glaze option in limited quantities, so don’t wait too long to pick yours.
